Greensboro, NC - DataDelta, Inc. (www.DataDelta.com) today unveiled a breakthrough "Anonymizer" enhancement to its flagship DataDelta product that enables true anonymous data analysis.

"This is significant because it enables DataDelta to perform match accuracy analysis directly on encrypted data without having to decrypt or otherwise access sensitive customer data," said Ed Allburn, DataDelta's president and CEO.

DataDelta is currently in talks with angel investors to raise its first round of funding. It's patent-pending technology maximizes the match accuracy of current Customer Data Integration (CDI) de-duping systems for building a "Single Customer View" - a critical component for applications such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), 1to1 Relationship Marketing, fraud detection/prevention, corporate compliance, Homeland Security and others. DataDelta is unique in that it enhances, not replaces, existing CDI and de-duping solutions such as Oracle's Customer Data Hub, Firstlogic, Trillium Software, Ascential, Acxiom, Experian, DataFlux and others. "DataDelta works like an auto shop's analysis computer for fine-tuning car engines, but our tool is used to fine-tune the business rules for match engines" explained Allburn.

Data security and customer privacy are key concerns in all professional data centers today. A common practice to address these concerns is to greatly restrict access to customer data - restricting access not only to third-party service providers and partner vendors, but also even internally amongst different departments within the organization.

Companies use DataDelta's Anonymizer on-site to extract and encrypt their customer data into randomized hash values which then provide the only input into the DataDelta analysis tool. Because companies securely keep in-house the lookup tables required to decrypt the data, no actual customer data is ever exposed to risk.
